Security

SEO Logbook uses practical application-level safeguards, but this page is not a certification statement.

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Access controls

Workspace and project permissions are used to separate owners, admins, members, viewers, guests, project editors, and project viewers.

Project-specific guests are scoped through explicit project access rather than broad workspace access.

Safe URL fetching

Server-side URL fetches are restricted to http and https URLs.

SEO Logbook blocks localhost, private IP ranges, link-local metadata addresses, unsupported protocols, unsafe redirects, oversized responses, and long-running requests.

Operational safeguards

Cron endpoints require a shared secret, and sensitive superadmin mutations are recorded in admin audit logs.

Plan limits, retention behavior, and scheduled report access are enforced server-side.

Security contact

Report security concerns through the contact options listed on the Contact page. Please avoid including secrets in messages.

Certification status

SEO Logbook does not currently claim SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR certification, or other formal compliance certification.
